| Robin
Pitt-Taylor specializes in one-of-a-kind designs. He
began with bonsai stands and soon, orders for larger furniture were at
his door. He also produces smaller items for the kitchen, such as bread boards and bread boxes, utensils, and custom pieces. Robin works with local hardwoods such as butternut, red oak, black walnut and cherry. His designs include ceramic-inlaid coffee tables, end tables, dining tables, china cabinets and a variety of artistic and functional pieces. To see Robin's work, click here. After nurturing several banana trees for over fifteen years, Robin planted two in the ground inside our greenhouse in 2003. By December 2004, the first banana flower appeared and by July 2005, there were five bunches of delicious, sweet bananas on the trees. To see a pictoral history of the bananas growing, click here. Presently, Robin is accepting commissions for custom furniture and other hardwood designs. |
